Aside – I’ve got to find an easier way to reference which day I’m talking about.
Felt good to get out for a run today – hadn’t run since early on Saturday. I chose a mostly downhill run, heading from Richmond Gate down toward Ham Gate on the main road, returning on the dirt trail. Of course that leaves a very steep climb at the end, but it worked out alright. I was probably running faster than I should have on the downhill bits, but it felt good and I wasn’t pushing it.
The heat wave of sorts is still continuing – getting out for a run at 10am is feeling too late these days.
Yesterday was a rest day – I kept things light, making it tough to close my rings. Sunday was a cross-training day. I decided to go with a workout I had seen on the BBC website, from Jesse Lingard (Man U/England football). Well rounded and probably tougher than I’d like to admit, but a good one – I should try it again another time.
